When you climb, reach back down.
That sentence has stayed with me, because none of us gets anywhere alone. Someone taught you. Someone opened a door. Someone encouraged you while you were struggling.
So success can't only be about reaching the top by yourself. At some point the question becomes: who did you help climb?
Some people look successful from outside. Money. A title. A business. Not all of them seem fulfilled.
The ones who leave the biggest impression are building something that reaches past them. A family. A business. A school. A book. Something that keeps helping people once they've left the room.
The people who left the biggest mark on my life weren't the richest people I knew. A teacher. A mentor. A coach. Someone who helped when they didn't have to.
Years later I'm still living off things they gave me. That's a different kind of wealth.
Eventually every job ends. Every title disappears. Every paycheck gets spent.
Then the question gets simpler. What remains? What did you build? Who did you help? What's better because you were here?
Money creates options. Impact creates something that outlasts you.
So when you climb, reach back down. Help somebody. Share what you've learned. Open a door when you can.
None of us got here alone, and very little worth building gets built alone either.
